감성적 사운드로 90년대 후반 데뷔 이후 브릿팝씬을 대표해 온 스코틀랜드 출신 모던록 밴드 TRAVIS의 2003년 가을 네번째 정규 앨범, 12 Memories.

거대한 성공을 거둔 전작 The Invisible Band(2001) 이후 2년만의 작품으로 이번 앨범은 Travis를 세계적인 인기 밴드로 격상시킨 이전 2,3집과는 다소 변화가 느껴지는 곡이다. 사운드 상으로는 데뷔 앨범 이후 오랜만에 좀더 로큰롤적인 부분을 부각시켰고, 더불어 일렉트로닉적인 요소도 일부 첨가되었다. 가사에 있어서도 러브송보다는 좀더 성숙하고 다양한 사회적 메시지가 담긴 곡들이 담겨 있어 전작들과는 변화가 느껴지는데 2번째 싱글이기도 한 "The Beautiful Occupation"은 당시 이라크 전쟁과 관련된 곡이며, Peace the Fuck Out은 제목만으로도 그런 부분을 알 수 있다. 반면 세번째 싱글 "Love Will Come Through"은 이전 2,3집의 Travis와 가까운 스타일의 곡이며, 첫 싱글 "Re-Offender"는 약간의 변화는 느껴지지만 여전히 Travis의 매력이 느껴지는 곡이다.
