아이리쉬 하드록 밴드 씬리지의 명반 중 하나로, 70년대 후반 최고의 트윈 기타 연주와 멜로디 메이킹으로 당시 어려웠던 상황의 아일랜드의 지리적, 정치적 한계를 극복하고 전세계적인 사랑을 받았다. 타이틀곡 Bad Reputation을 비롯해 아름다운 발라드 Dancing In The Moonlight, Killer Without a Cause 등이 많이 알려졌지만 한곡 한곡 타이트한 구성이 Jailbreak 이후 80년대초까지 본 앨범, Black Rose, Johnny The Fox 등의 연이은 걸작 앨범으로 전성기를 구가하던 당시 밴드의 힘을 느끼게 만든다. 당시 밴드는 4인조였지만 실질적으로 앨범의 레코딩은 Brian Robertson이 개인적인 문제로 Scott Gorham이 거의 모든 기타 파트를 담당했다. 프로듀싱은 데이빗 보위, 티렉스 등의 수많은 명반을 제작했던 마이더스 토니 비스콘티가 담당했다.
