런던에서 결성된 신성 록 밴드 현재 인디록씬에 새로운 돌풍을 일으키고 있는 Vaccines의 당찬 데뷔 앨범 What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? 결성 1년만에 발표된 본 데뷔 앨범은 UK 앨범 차트 4위에 오르며 플래티넘을 이미 넘어서는 성과를 거두었다. 싱글로도 데뷔전인 2010년 11월 발표된 첫 싱글 "Wreckin' Bar (Ra Ra Ra)", "Blow It Up"를 비롯해 "Post Break-Up Sex", "If You Wanna", 4."Nørgaard", "Wetsuit", "Tiger Blood" 등 1년여가 넘도록 계속해서 여러곡들이 사랑받으며 앨범 전체의 고른 완성도도 인정받았다고 할 수 있다. 이들은 포스트 펑크 리바이벌씬의 새로운 주역으로 음악적으로 The Strokes와 Ramones 등에 비견되며 호평을 받고 있다. 본인들에 따르면 자신들은 50-60년대의 로큰롤과 개러지록, 70년대의 펑크, 80년대 아메리칸 하드코어, 팝뮤직 등 다양한 장르에서 영향을 받았다고 밝힌 바있다.
