90년대 가장 평가절하된 모던 록 밴드, 맨선(Mansun)의 베스트 앨범 Legacy. 마지막 정규 앨범이었던 Kleptomania를 포함, 4장의 정규 앨범과 10장이 훨씬 넘는 EP를 발표하며 짧지만 굵은 활동을 한 Mansun. 그들의 두번째 앨범 SIX의 수록곡을 딴 최초의 베스트 컬렉션 성격의 본 앨범 Legacy는 사실 레코드사에서 만들어낸 흔한 그레이티스트 히츠 앨범 이상의 의미를 갖는다. 본 앨범을 위해 핵심 인물들인 폴 드레이퍼(보컬/기타)와 도미닉 채드(기타)는 직접 17곡을 선곡하고, 그에 대해 정성이 담긴 커멘터리를 작성했다. 선곡 또한 단순히 히트곡 중심이 아니라 이들의 희귀 트랙인 Slipping Away와 Getting Your Way가 수록되는 등 상당히 의미 있고, 고심을 한 흔적이 보인다. 특히 DVD가 포함된 스페셜 에디션에는 실험성과 개성 넘치는 이들의 모든 오피셜 뮤직비디오 클립과 라이브 실황, 밴드의 중심인물들인 폴 드래이퍼와 기타리스트 도미닉 채드와의 인터뷰를 비롯해 다양한 미공개 영상이 포함된 다큐멘터리가 수록되어 있어 그간 국내에서 그들에 대한 정보에 목말라 있던 팬들에겐 단순한 베스트 앨범 이상의 가치를 갖는다.
