80년대 후반 전성기를 구가하던 LA 지역 메틀의 대표적 밴드, L.A. Guns의 셀프 타이틀 앨범. 초창기 Guns N' Roses에 잠시 몸담기도 했던 기타리스트 트레이시 건스가 이끄는 L.A. Guns는 이들보다 다소 먼저 밴드를 시작한 머틀리 크루와 함께 소위 말하는 LA 메틀 사운드의 전형에 가장 가까운 밴드 중 하나로 손꼽힌다. 음악적으로도 좋은 평을 들었을 뿐 아니라 No Mercy, Sex Action, Electric Gypsy 등 싱글도 히트하며 앨범이 플래티넘을 기록하는 등 많은 사랑을 받았다.
