초기 Slipknot의 진수를 보여주는 완벽한 라이브 영상 Disasterpieces

Live at the London Arena, England, February 15, 2002

90년대말 혜성처럼 등장해 충격적인 사운드와 무대 퍼포먼스, 신비한 이미지까지 결합되며 데뷔 앨범으로 전세계에 열광적인 팬층을 형성하며 메틀코어씬을 평정한 아이오와 출신의 9인조 밴드 Slipknot. 그들의 첫 오피셜 라이브 DVD인 본작 Disasterpieces는 영국 런던에서의 공연을 수록하고 있는데 30여대가 넘는 카메라로 9명의 멤버들이 펼치는 폭발적인 공연을 현장에서 보듯 그 열기를 고스란히 담고 있다. 또한 일부 곡들의 경우 DVD만의 장점인 멀티앵글을 지원해 원하는 경우 선택해 각 멤버들의 연주에 집중해 볼 수 있다. 그외에도 공연 준비 과정을 포함한 백스테이지 영상과 Waited And Bleed의 희귀 버젼, Lefe Behind의 디렉터스컷 버젼 등 당시까지 발표된 1,2집의 뮤직비디오, 그리고 1집 초판에 잠깐 수록되었다 삭제되어버린 초기 명곡 Purity의 DVD 오디오 음원이 포함되어 있다. 공연과 서플리먼트의 내용까지 현재까지도 헤비록팬들의 엄청난 지지를 받는 작품으로 현재도 메틀코어 씬을 대표하는 가장 잘 나가고 있는 밴드라면 바로 슬립낫을 선택할 수 있지만, 음반에서 삭제된 Purity를 비롯해 Disasterpiece, Surfacing, (Sic), My Plague, Wait And Bleed, Liberate, People=Shit, Left Behind 등 팬들의 절대적인 지지를 받는 1,2집 주요곡들이 대부분 수록되어 있어 적어도 슬립낫의 팬이라면 반드시 소장해야할 작품이다.
