Slash의 솔로 커리어에서 2번째 공식 라이브 앨범 Live At The Roxy 25.9.14 (블루레이)

1980년대부터 건즈 앤 로지즈-스네이크핏-벨벳 리볼버 등으로 쉴새없는 활동을 해온 기타리스트 슬래쉬. 2010년대 자신의 이름을 걸고 여러명의 객권 뮤지션들을 기용해 발표한 첫 솔로 앨범 Slash가 큰 성공을 거두었고, 최근에는 1집에서 좋은 호흡을 보이며 장기간의 투어를 함께 했던 얼터브릿지의 마일즈 케네디(Myles Kennedy)와 손잡고 발표한 두번째 앨범 World On Fire 또한 요즘 보기 드문 정통 하드록 앨범으로서 좋은 반응을 얻으며 이제는 명실상부한 시대를 대표하는 아이콘으로 자리매김했다. 본 앨범은 밴드 Slash로서 2번째 라이브 공식 앨범이다.
전작과 달리 슬래쉬는 World On Fire 앨범에서 그와 마일즈 케네디를 중심으로 몇몇 뮤지션들과 함께 새로운 밴드 컨스피레이터를 결성해 함께 앨범에 이름을 올렸으며, 투어 역시 그들과 함께 했다. 첫 라이브 앨범이 Slash가 태어난 영국에서의 공연을 담은 것이었다면, 본 앨범은 80년대 중반 건즈 앤 로지즈 결성 당시부터 활동해 고향이나 다를 바없는 LA 선셋 스트립의 전설적인 공연장 록시 시어터에서 2014년 열린 것이다. 역시 더블 CD와 DVD, BluRay 등으로 함께 제작되었는데, 셋리스트에는 솔로 1집의 히트곡들과 2집의 대표곡들을 중심으로 "Nightrain", "Rocket Queen", "You Could Be Mine", "You're Crazy", "Sweet Child O'Mine", "Paradise City" 등 건즈 앤 로지즈의 대표곡들이 다수 포함되어 있는 것이 눈에 띈다. 한편 Slash는 최근 Duff McKagan과 함께 고향 Guns N' Roses로 되돌아와 이루어질 것 같지 않았던 투어를 성공적으로 하고 있다.
