이제는 전설로 남은 머틀리 크루와 브라이즈 오브 디스트럭션의 리더 Nikki Sixx를 중심으로 현재 Guns N' Roses의 기타리스트로 활약 중인 DJ Ashba, 그리고 싱어송라이터로 작곡과 보컬, 다양한 악기의 연주가 가능한 재능있는 뮤지션 James Michael가 함께 만든 프로젝트 밴드 SIX:AM (밴드명은 멤버들 각각의 이니셜을 이용한 이름)의 컨셉 앨범 The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack. 머틀리 크루, 벅체리 등이 소속된 레코드인 Eleven Seven Music에서 발표된 본 음반은 또한 Nikki의 앨범과 같은 타이틀로한 자서전 The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star과 함께 발매되었다. 앨범의 첫 싱글인 Life is Beautiful이 메인스트림록차트 2위까지 오르는 상당히 히트를 기록했고, 보통의 일회성 프로젝트 밴드와 다른 높은 완성도로 평단과 록팬들의 뜨거운 반응을 이끌어 냈다.
