영국 출신의 매력적 록밴드 Reef의 두번째 앨범이자 대표작 Glow (1997)

Gary Stringer(보컬), Kenwyn House(기타), Jack Bessant(베이스), Domic Greensmith(드럼)으로 구성된 밴드는 당시의 여타의 브릿팝 밴드와는 다른 그루브 강한 복고풍의 로큰롤 사운드로 라이브에서 말랑한 팝록 사운드에 질린 록팬들로부터 특히 열렬한 지지를 받았다. 그들은 70년대 강력한 그루브와 블루지한 리듬, 끈적한 리프가 살아있는 정통 로큰롤을 담아낸 데뷔 앨범 Replenish로 주목을 받으며 UK차트에서 Top 10에 오르는 좋은 성적을 거두었을 뿐만 아니라, 롤링 스톤즈, 오아시스 등의 거물급 밴드들과 함께 투어를 하기도 했다. Reef의 두번째 앨범이자 그들의 최고작, Glow는 발매 즉시 UK 차트 1위와 10일만에 75만장 이상의 판매고, 공연마다 매진 사태를 불러오며 인기를 모았다. 국내에서 특히 평가절하받는 대표적인 케이스로 그냥 묻히기는 아까운 밴드다.
