29cm 정사각형 하드케이스 박스에 담겨 발매되는 핑크 플로이드의 ‘이머전(Immersion) 박스세트’는 전곡 리마스터된 곡들과 이전까지 공개되지 않았던 미공개 수록곡들, 비디오 영상들, 화려하게 재탄생한 앨범의 모든 아트웍들, 다양한 머천다이징 상품들로 함께 구성되어 있다.

1973년 발표되어 핑크 플로이드 최초의 US 넘버 1 앨범으로 기록된 'The Dark Side Of The Moon'은 발매되었던 73년부터 88년까지 무려 741주 동안 차트에 남아있었을 정도로 많은 사랑을 받았다. 엄청난 판매량과 비평가들로부터 호평을 들은 앨범 중의 하나로서, Hipgnosis가 디자인한 상징적인 앨범 아트웍 또한 화제가 되었었다.

‘이머전 박스세트’에는 James Guthrie가 작업한 리마스터된 오리지널 스튜디오 앨범을 포함하여 한정판 박스세트에 담긴 6장의 오디오 비디오 자료들, Storm Thorgerson이 디자인한 27cm X 27cm 대형 40페이지 북클릿, 포토그래퍼 Jill Furmanovsky가 촬영하여 편집한 사진집 및 투어 티켓 리플리카, 백스테이지 패스 리플리카, 스카프 등 여러 머천다이징 상품이 포함된 구성으로 판매된다.
