아이언 메이든의 최전성기 시절이었던 LA 롱비치 공연의 풀영상과 다채로운 부가 영상들로 가득찬 궁극의 DVD SET로 재탄생!

30여년의 역사를 자랑하는 영국의 국보급 헤비메틀 밴드 아이언 메이든의 자타공인 최전성기 시절로 불리우는 80년대 중반 Powerslave 투어 공연 중, 1985년 3월 미국 캘리포니아에 위치한 롱비치 아레나에서의 공연을 담고 있다. 사실 본 영상은 이미 Live After Death라는 이름의 음반 및 LD로 발표되어 현재까지 스테디셀러로 헤비메틀 팬들의 사랑을 받고 있었으나, 보다 대중적이고 업그레이드 된 DVD로는 이제야 비로소 발매가 되었다.
80년대 헤비메틀 라이브 앨범의 교과서로 불리우는 본 공연에는 Powerslave 앨범의 인트로를 여는 Aces High부터 시작해 데뷔 후 5년여간 발표된 Iron Maiden, The Trooper, The Number Of The Beast, Run To The Hills 등 헤비메틀 고전들이 앨범 Powerslave의 컨셉에 맞춰 이집트 피라밋/스핑크스를 형상화한 무대에서 펼쳐진다.
어느덧 데뷔 30여년을 맞이하는 아이언 메이든은 80년대 미국을 중심으로한 스래시메틀과 유럽의 파워메틀의 형성에 결정적인 영향을 주었던 전설적인 밴드로 여전히 신보를 내며 열정적으로 활동하며 후배들의 모범이되고 있다. 젊은 시절 아이언 메이든을 추억하는 올드팬들과 근래 Rock in Rio 라이브 이후부터 접한 신세대에게는 이들의 젊은 시절을 볼 수 있는 소중한 자료가 될 것이다.
특히 2장의 디스크 세트로 구성된 본 DVD는 5.1 채널로 리마스터링된 업그레이드된 사운드와 23년전이라고는 믿겨지지 않는 뛰어나게 복원된 영상의 메인 콘서트 90여분 이외에도 총 4시간에 이를 정도로 질적 양적으로 엄청난 보너스 피쳐가 제공되어 팬들의 소장욕구를 당기기에 충분하다. 우선 아이언 메이든의 히스토리를 다룬 2시간에 육박하는 다큐멘터리 2편과 50여분간의 역사적인 1985년 Rock In Rio 실황, 그외 공식 뮤직 비디오, 투어 프로그램 및 갤러리 등 부가 영상 역시 높은 가치가 있다.
