전세계 900만장 판매고를 기록한 How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb 이후 약 4년 반 만에 발매하는 U2의 12번째 정규 앨범 No Line On The Horizon

이번 앨범은 80년대부터 함께 해 온 그들의 오랜 음악적 파트너들인 Brian Eno, Daniel Lanois, Steve Lillywhite를 프로듀서로 초빙하여 2008년 부터 모로코를 시작으로 U2의 더블린 스튜디오, 뉴욕 등지에서 녹음 되었고, 최종적으로 런던의 올림픽 스튜디오에서 완성 되었다. 총 11곡의 신곡을 담고 있는 No Line One The Horizon의 첫 싱글로 공개된 Get On Your Boots는 Q 매거진에서 초창기의 로큰롤 리프를 채용한 미래 지향적 독특한 일렉트로 그런지로 찬사를 보냈으며, 많은 유수의 매체들도 앞다투어 극찬을 아끼지 않고 있다.
