Brighten The Corners는 최근 오랜만에 재결성을 하며 팬들에게 돌아온 아메리칸 인디록의 전설 Pavement가 1997년에 발매한 4번째 정규 앨범이다. 본 앨범 역시 Pavement라는 이름에 걸맞게 명반으로 손꼽히는 전작들과 어깨를 나란히 할 정도로 높은 완성도를 지니고 있어 인디록 팬들에겐 필청 음반이라 할 수 있다.
한편 전작들에 이어 Brighten The Corners : Nicene Creedence Edition라는 이름으로 발매 10주년을 기념해 제작된 본 디럭스 에디션은 오리지널 앨범의 리마스터링은 물론 제작 당시의 아웃테이크, BBC 라디오 1 세션, 라이브, 싱글 및 B 사이드, 각종 미공개 트랙들 등 총 44곡의 방대한 음원을 수록하고 있다. 디지팩과 다이컷 슬립케이스로 제작된 멋진 패키지에 함께 제공되는 48p의 책자는 고급스러움과 소장성을 더해준다.
