7년만의 새로운 정규 앨범 "You Are the Quarry"(2004)로 여전히 건재함을 과시한 브리티쉬 모던록계의 아이콘 Morrissey의 공식 라이브 앨범 Live At Earls Court. "Beethoven Was Deaf" (1993) 이후 12년만의 첫 공식 라이브 앨범으로 2004년 12월 18일 17,000여명이 운집한 런던의 명소, 얼즈 코트에서열린 공연을 담고 있다.
최근 앨범의 히트 싱글들인 "First of the Gang to Die", "Irish Blood, English Heart", "Let Me Kiss You", "I Have Forgiven Jesus", "I Like You", "The World Is Full Of Crashing Bores", 싱글 B-사이드 트랙인 "Munich Air Disaster 1958", "Friday Mourning", "Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice" 등의 신곡들이 다수 포함된 가운데, 오프닝 곡 "How Soon Is Now?"를 비롯해 "Bigmouth Strikes Again", "There Is a Light That Never Goes Out", "Shoplifters of the World Unite", "Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me" 등 솔로 뿐 아니라 The Smiths 시절의 자니 마와 함께 쓴 명곡들도 셋리스트에 포함되어 있어 올드팬들을 감성을 자극하고 있다. 물론 솔로 시절의 대표곡들 가운데 "The More You Ignore Me, The Closer I Get", "November Spawned A Monster" 등도 포함되어 있다. 한편 전설 패티 스미스(Patti Smith)의 데뷔 앨범 "Horses"에 수록된 명곡을 라이브로 커버한 "Redondo Beach"은 본 앨범의 싱글로 커트되었다. Morrissey의 카리스마는 여전하지만 이전의 작품들에 비해 부쩍 원숙미가 느껴진다.
