캘리포니아 출신으로 데뷔 이후 음악적, 대중적 성공을 꾸준히 거두고 있는 실력파 얼터너티브 메틀밴드 Incubus의 5번째 정규 앨범, A Crow Left Of The Murder.
많은 음악 매체를 통해 호평을 받은 Morning View 이후 3년만에 발표된 이번 앨범은 발매 첫주에 앨범차트 2위로 데뷔하며 이들의 높은 인기를 확인했으며, 현재까지 미국에서만 200만장 가까운 판매고를 기록하고 있다. 이번 앨범은 펄잼, RATM, 스톤 템플 파일럿츠 등 굵직한 밴드들의 앨범을 전담해 온 Brendan O'Brien이 프로듀싱을 담당했으며, 그는 이번 작품을 통해 감성적 사운드부터 강렬한 록트랙까지 능숙하게 소화해내는 밴드의 특기를 잘 살려주고 있다. 싱글로 커트된 Megalomaniac과 Talk Shows on Mute를 비롯해 Agoraphobia, Sick Sad Little World 등 여러 트랙들이 히트했다.
