네덜란드 뮤지션 Arjen Anthony Lucassen이 리드하는 수퍼 프로젝트 프로그레시브 록 밴드 Ayreon이 5년만에 선보이는 최신 정규 앨범 The Theory of Everything (2013년 作)

프로그레시브 록/메틀 팬들에겐 이미 그 실력을 인정받은 Ayreon이 Timeline (2008) 이후 5년만에 발표되는 8번째 정규 앨범으로서 전작들과 마찬가지로 컨셉 앨범 형식을 띄고 있다. 물론 이번 작품에도 Asia, Yes, Dream Theater, Kamelot, Nightwish 등 프로그레시브 록, 멜로딕 파워 메틀씬의 전세계 내로라하는 밴드들의 뮤지션들이 대거 참여해 협력했다. 이미 전작들을 통해 소문난 잔치라도 잘만하면 먹을 것이 많을 수 있다는 것을 증명한 Ayreon답게, 이미 앨범에 대해서도 프로그레시브 메틀팬들과 전문 리뷰 사이트들로부터 만점에 가까운 극찬이 쏟아지고 있다. 프로그레시브 록/메틀팬들이라면 반드시 주목해야할 작품.
